Dash was my first show dog and he and I have learned how to show and what to expect in the ring
together.  I couldn't have gotten a better puppy for my first to show.  Dash is super smart and so
willing to do whatever it takes to please us whether he is in the ring or being a pet at home.  This
boy has so much personality!  Dash is now a dual Champion having achieved the required wins in
both AKC and UKC.  He also has one Reserve Best In Show to his credits and several group
placements. He has taken some obedience classes and proven very willing to do what is asked of
him.  Dash is now retired from the show ring and has been neutered.  At some point we may do
some obedience or field trials with him.

AM/RBIS UKC CH TAC'S DASH OF TEENY WEENIE PERFECTION
In September we decided to take a stab at participating in a UKC conformation show.  I wasn't sure
what to expect but found out it's truly not a lot different than showing in an AKC event.   UKC does
have 2 shows per day though so during our first weekend out we participated in 4 shows.  The
photo below on the left was taken after the a.m. show.  Dash won Best of Breed as well as a Group
3 Placement.  We were very excited by his first UKC win.   Dash was not so excited so he decided to
sit for his photo.  I guess those obedience classes are now showing up in our conformation :)  
During the P.M. show Dash took Best of Breed and a Group 1 although for some reason we failed to
get a photo of that win.  That was under a different judge than you see pictured below.  The photo
on the right shows Dash relaxing as we wait to go in for the Best In Show Competition.  You can
see how stressed he is, lol.
Below are photos of Dash and I in the Best In Show ring.  In the first shot he is on the table
waiting for the judge to examine him.  In the 2nd one it's the final line up and the judge is walking
down the line and deciding who will receive Reserve as well as Best In Show.
A VERY emotional moment for me as the judge announces that Reserve Best In Show goes to my
boy Dash!  On the right we are working on posing for our win photo.  By this time Dash was DONE
and this was the best shot we could get.
WAY TO GO MY DASHY WASHY WOO WOO MAN!  I AM SO PROUD!
Recently while out of town for a dog show we had a huge scare because our boy Dash was lost.  
We were asked to write the story for it to be published on the THE LONG AND SHORT OF IT ALL
